Arpi's 90 Degree Elbow

Recently I was hired by Arpi's Industries to take some photos of a huge project they are completing for the Health Science Centre at the Foothills Hospital. The first location was at their shop here in Calgary. They have been assembling extremely large air ducts for the job, and this massive 90 degree elbow is their showcase. I will also be on site several times at the hospital to take photos of the work there. I can't wait to see how everything is moved, assembled and then finally completed near the end of the summer

Update on the Human Kids

Rhett is almost 2 (end of Feb) and amazes me by his stubbornness and determination. Stubborn because he refuses to be potty trained, and determined to keep it that way!! He's a sponge and copies everything Jonas, or I do all day long. He's talking up a storm, with his favorite words being "I try", "no" and " Sorry Mommy". He loves to make Jonas upset by taking his toys and hording them for himself. He always has at least 2 things in this hands at any given moment.

Jonas is 4.5 years old now and is a pleasant, helpful and sensitive child. He is learning so much as pre-school and loves his friends! Perhaps he might be "easily distracted". He's really into writing letters and making words, and of course singing in the car to his songs (which I have to say isn't pleasant sounding). We've been discussing death a lot here, and he's always asking "Kill...Die?" when I say things like "this is going to kill me".

Tiko Turns 9!

 Tiko turned 9 this Saturday, and we celebrated his birthday with a special dinner (soft dog food). My love/hate relationship with Tiko stems from his constant need to bark. From the kids, to the doorbell, to people walking by....it drives me bonkers!!

I have to admit, though, he has has been really good with the kids lately. Perhaps he realizes that it's more fun to join in on the fun then growl on the sidelines?

Winter Session - Calgary Engagement Photographer

I loved this session. It was just cold enough to be a tad annoying (thanks for the mitts Mischa), but the sun was in a great position and my clients were awesome!! Mischa and Cherie are getting married in Vancouver, and although I'm not their wedding photographer, I can't wait to see the pictures. Cherie has a great eye for fashion and I know it's going to be an over the top fantastic event.
